You can connect your debit cards to your Dosh app, but our system will not recognize your debit transaction. It will result in a no cash back instance, but don’t panic! We will honor cash back for debit transactions. Just make sure to submit a ticket to Dosh Support along with your receipt. For the best possible experience, please make sure to link a credit card to ensure automatic cash back.
When your debit card is used the transaction goes directly to your bank and not the credit card companies that we're linked with (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). Cash back is provided automatically through the transaction records from the credit card processors. We recommend that in order to get cash back when you redeem a Dosh offer you will need to swipe your debit card as a credit card (do not use your PIN #), otherwise you will not receive any Dosh cash back automatically. If you input a pin the transaction goes directly to your bank, so we will not be able to see it. Always remember to swipe your debit card as a credit card, so we can identify your transaction to give your cash back after your purchase.
When your Dosh offer purchase results in a missing cash back contact Dosh Support and provide a copy of your receipt every time you use your debit card. We will try our best to get you your cash back!
